Lubricants

Lubricants for the European market are produced at the Gulf Oil recognised lubricant blending plant in The Netherlands. The factory is equipped with the latest digital technology and has a “piggable line’ blending system. There are two inline blenders which have a capacity of 30- and 40 mt per hour.

There are also 12 batch-blending tanks set-up for the production of smaller quantities. The total storage capacity for base oils is 17.000 mt. Eighty-eight storage tanks are available to store the finished products and additives. Sea vessels up to 7.500 mt deliver the base oils to the factory. The combination of the position of the factory, on deep water, and the storage and production capacity result in an effective and therefore attractive proposition for the lubricant market.
